Exciting Invitation to EdCamp Ukraine 2019!

I am thrilled to share that I’ve been invited to participate in the Fifth National (Un)conference for School Educators – EdCamp Ukraine 2019! This incredible event is officially part of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine’s 2019 schedule, highlighting its importance in shaping the future of education.

From July 5 to July 10, 2019, the event will take place at the Beit Dan Cultural Center in Kharkiv (46, vul. Tobolska). The (Un)conference, along with its preparatory sessions and closing activities, promises to be a hub of innovation, collaboration, and inspiration for educators nationwide. What makes this invitation even more amazing is that the organizing committee is funding the trip and accommodation for all participants.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Dr. Oleksandr Elkin, Head of EdCamp Ukraine NGO and Advisor to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, for this opportunity. I’m incredibly inspired by the vision behind EdCamp Ukraine and cannot wait to engage with fellow educators, exchange fresh ideas, and explore innovative ways to transform our educational practices.

Join me as we embrace this unique chance to connect, learn, and inspire one another at EdCamp Ukraine 2019!

AI starts to help students at Äänekoski

In a groundbreaking collaboration, the City of Äänekoski and the Northern Central Finland Vocational College (POKE) are embarking on a project that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into municipal operations. This initiative aims to harness AI to enhance various city functions, improve services for residents, and provide POKE students with practical experience in cutting-edge technology.

The partnership focuses on developing AI-driven solutions tailored to the specific needs of Äänekoski. By leveraging AI, the city anticipates improvements in areas such as resource management, public safety, and citizen engagement. For POKE students, this collaboration offers a unique opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, working alongside city officials to implement and refine AI applications.

This initiative not only positions Äänekoski as a forward-thinking municipality but also strengthens the bond between the city and educational institutions like POKE. By embracing AI, Äänekoski aims to set a precedent for other cities in Finland and beyond, demonstrating the transformative potential of technology in public administration.
